Senmotion continuously provides data on ground reaction forces and the specific load behaviour during walking or running. By avoiding force peaks and learning a "suitable" gait pattern, our approach can be used for preventive diagnostics as well as for the rehabilitative care and secondary prevention of patients after surgical intervention.

In the preventive setting, Senmotion can help prevent arthrotic changes in the lower limb joints by providing a continuously feedback. A real-time warning system for the early detection of age-related stumbling steps and falls is also being considered. Through real-time monitoring and the possibility of targeted interventions, harmful movement sequences are detected early on. Patients can be informed directly by means of warnings, thus avoiding such movements and overloads. This results in a sustainable and healthy movement pattern.
